An eSIM is a modern digital alternative to the traditional physical SIM card. Unlike the chips an eSIM is integrated directly into the device. This technology provides users with a more flexible, secure, and convenient way to manage their mobile network connections, eliminating the need for a physical SIM card.

How do I purchase an eSIM card?

There are multiple ways to top-up your balance:

From the website:

To top-up your balance, you can use our website simply buy entering your GLOBALCELL number in full format (ex. 995559XXXXXX). Check whether the number is correctly set and represents GLOBALCELL's number. In the field "amount" enter the amount and follow the easy process. After the payment you will receive a confirmation message via SMS or email.

Electronic terminals:

"Bank of Georgia" Electronic terminal: You can simply call the GLOBALCELL Call Centre, 11 00 07 (from Georgia), +995 322 420 200 every day, from 09: 00 am to 21:00 pm, require balance filling up with credit card, dictate to operator the plastic card data (card number and validity period) and without passing the card terminal, transfer the desired amount.

Quick payment terminals:

Payments are acceptable from quick payment machines: NOVA, TBCPAY, EXPRESSPAY throughout the country. 

Mobile & internet banking:

How do I purchase an internet package?

You can purchase an internet package from the website. To do this, select the desired package, add it to the cart, enter an existing number or add a new number and complete the payment.

An internet package can also be purchased using a combination. To do this, dial *, the country code for the package you want, # and OK. For example: for a package valid in Georgia, dial: *995#OK.

The following combinations are exceptions:

For a Canadian package: *11#OK

For an Austrian package: *143#OK

For a Kazakhstan package: *77#OK

How do I check the remaining volume of my internet package?

To check the remaining megabytes of your internet package, dial: *101#OK.

How do I purchase a CHAT package?

You can purchase the CHAT package from the website. To do this, select the desired package, add it to the cart, enter an existing number or add a new number and complete the payment.

The package can also be purchased from the phone, by dialing the combination: *444#OK.

Please note that if you use an Internet package in parallel with the CHAT package and both of them are valid in the country you are in, the Internet package will be used up first and after that you will start using the CHAT package.

I can't use mobile internet, what should I do?

First, make sure that the package you purchased is valid in the country you are in. Also, check that you have the appropriate card selected in cellular/mobile data and that you have enabled data-roaming in the settings of this card on your phone.

What happens to unused megabytes after the expiration date?

After the expiration date, the remaining megabytes in the package will be canceled.

How do I know if my phone is compatible with eSIM?

Most modern smartphones and tablets, popular models from Apple, Google, and Samsung, are compatible with eSIM, although you can check your device's compatibility before purchasing on the special "Check Device Compatibility" page.

When should I set up an eSIM if I want to use it while traveling?

If you are planning a trip, it is best to install your eSIM before departure. This can be done using your mobile data or Wi-Fi connection. Once you arrive at the destination, the package you purchased will be automatically activated on the connected card.
